Trump's campaign reveals just how very little money they have left
Source: Raw Story
Sarah K. Burris September 20, 2020 Former Vice President Joe Biden announced that his campaign brought in a massive campaign haul during the Democratic convention last month ahead of the August campaign finance filing. President Donald Trump has attempted to keep his campaign numbers hidden with a late filing, and by Sunday evening it was clear why. Trump’s total haul for August, when he got a week’s worth of free media from the Republican convention, was just $61.7 million. The campaign spent almost all of it, $61.2 million. The campaign still has about $900,000 in debt. His cash on hand is just $121 million in the bank. Trump’s big donor support has dropped by 61 percent as he refuses to turnout for virtual events. 7. Also keep in mind
These are August numbers. They don't reflect the Atlantic article, don't reflect RBG, don't reflect two major hurricanes and Western Wildfires, nor hitting the 200K milestone for Covid-19, nor the disastrous Trump Town Hall. They may very well be in the red by now.

And $900,000 in debt? Who in the right mind would loan this campaign money? |

3. Bad News For Downstream GOP
Airtime for political ads tends to get bought up in blocks with upstream candidates often book-ending downstream candidates. When those don't get filled, the downstream candidates often end up being paired with the other party's upstream supports, weakening their effectiveness further. The funding gap is likely to also be reflective of federal and state GOP spending, which means fewer dollars going downticket. This is turning into a perfect storm for the GOP.

ON EDIT: He’ll just come to expect the media to cover his WH pressers, he’ll schedule more of them, and he’ll use them as campaign rallies. I think he thinks that’s his fallback. The media should just refuse to air them, or make sure Biden gets equal time.
