Citywide curfew announced for Louisville starting at 9 p.m.

Source: WLKY News

On Wednesday, the grand jury will present its findings in the Breonna Taylor case -- a decision Louisville has been preparing for days.

The latest preparation announced by Mayor Greg Fischer is a 72-hour citywide curfew. It begins at 9 p.m. and ends at 6:30 a.m. each day.

LMPD interim police chief Rob Schroeder also announced that the National Guard has been activated. This announcement came within the hour before the grand jury is set to present its report at 1:15 p.m.

Before Wednesday, Fischer declared a state of emergency for the city and LMPD declared one for the department. The measures included canceling off-days and vacation until further notice.

But they're opening a can of worms regardless.

There was a curfew in Kenosha the night Rittenhouse murdered 2 people and maimed another.

The Grio: A grand jury convened in Breonna Taylor’s shooting death decided to press charges against former Louisville police officer Brett Hankison, but not for allegedly killing her during a botched raid. Instead, the officer was charged for allegedly shooting into Taylor’s neighbors’ apartments.

The Jefferson grand jury chose to indict Hankison with three counts of wanton endangerment in the first degree, which carries up to five years in prison. He was previously fired in June for his role in the shooting.

Finally, a mystery solved: If Breonna's boyfriend shot first because he believed he was a victim of a home invasion and was not charged, why was Hankson fired for rightfully firing in self-defense? Because he WASN'T accused of firing at the boyfriend!!!

So, just as I speculated, no one is going down for Breonna's death criminally because nothing criminal happened to her. The $12M civil settlement is chicken feed compared to what the other cops could have gotten due to false arrest, unlawful termination, corruption, and/or prosecutorial misconduct. No wonder the city went back on red alert.
