White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said that protesters' chants at President Trump when he visited the Supreme Court on Thursday to pay respects to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died Friday, were "appalling" and "disrespectful."

"The chants were appalling but certainly to be expected when you're in the heart of the swamp," McEnany told reporters at an afternoon press briefing.

McEnany said that she takes no issue with Americans peacefully demonstrating and chanting at the president, but she described the chants Thursday as a sign of disrespect.

"Everyone has a First Amendment in this country, but I thought it was an appalling and disrespectful thing to do as the president honored Justice Ginsburg," McEnany told reporters.

One good thing about growing up in an alcoholic family system is being able to read people. It was survival when I was a kid and it made me really good at my job when I was a nurse. What I saw was "Oh no, Uncle so and so is drunk and ready to blow, everybody hide!"

None of the protestors outside his pep rallies got through to him, he was too far away to hear them and he only reads things he absolutely has to, so he didn't read the signs. They were therefore all supporters who couldn't get in.

This wasn't a pep rally for him, it was a dead enemy and there was no way he could kid himself that the crowd were his friends.
