There is no such law.

And even if there was... the Senate can "deal with" an impeachment very quickly if they want to.

to hang themselves. As a majority of the public has indicated a distaste for the political knife fighting. And a preference for a pick made by an incoming president. Additionally -- the impeachment idea shows little chance of success -- either in sustaining charges or removal against Barr, or in stopping an eventual installment to the court.

First, you shouldn't link to Fox a recommendation to Democrats.

Next, you should check accuracy.

And stop with the bold and all caps.

That said, it's not a bad suggestion. Anything that ties up the Senate and shows their bad faith and overall vileness in the weeks running up to the election is probably not a bad thing. That said, it also takes Dems off the campaign trail at a critical time.

The recommendation itself may not be the best approach, but it is bold, and using that as a starting point for actions to be taken probably isn't a bad thing. Negotiating and appealing to the better angels of their nature is just downright silly after four years of chaos and hate.

And I admit, I used this post as the impetus to email my legislators.

Anyone have any other ideas?

8. Mine, that is not very popular would be impeachment as Pelosi mentioned, but the target should be

Thomas and Kavanaugh. If it were successful, it would open up 2 vacancies for Biden. Even if it wasn't Trump might be more hesitant to seat a justice that came from the Daffy Duck wing of the Republican party. The trial portion could be left to the incoming Senate in January.
