Bidens Release 2019 Returns, Paid Nearly $300,000 In Taxes

Source: Bloomberg

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden released his 2019 tax returns hours before the first debate with President Donald Trump, showing that he paid $299,346 in income taxes in 2019.

According to documents released by Biden’s campaign Tuesday, the former vice president and his wife, Jill, got a refund of $46,858 after paying $346,204 in income taxes. He reported a taxable income of $944,737, paying 31.7% of it in taxes.

The Bidens’ released the tax documents two days after a New York Times report that Trump, a billionaire, paid $750 in incomes taxes in both 2016 and 2017. The newspaper said it has not analyzed his most recent tax data.

Trump has defied decades of practice by U.S. presidents by refused to release his tax returns, incorrectly saying he cannot release them because he is under audit. He has dismissed the New York Times reporting, saying he has paid millions in real estate and payroll taxes.

The extreme wealthy pay nothing or those pretending to be.

It is whether fraud happened and the size of his debt (and to who).

Biden contributed $300K to essential government agencies (policing, military, etc), while Trump contributed 0.25% of that

to more moderate swing voters and low income republicans, yes it is indeed how little he paid, or more importantly, how much he got back due to tax dodges, whether legal or not. making the rich pay their share resonates with a lot of potential voters. your framing echoes the republican talking points that he's a "smart businessman".

Democrats, including Biden, want the rich to pay their share.

11. This was the single most important response that Biden could do in relation to Trump's taxes.

Nothing could have helped Biden more in this campaign to get the independents and republicans vote for Joe this time. Even if it just this time, Biden responded with the most brilliant move possible....
....and that is the end of Donald Trump even among a lot of independents and some republicans.

...."Donald Trump does not have a clue"...again says Stu.
