Deputies Removed Trump Campaign Official from Philadelphia Election Office for ‘Recording Video,’ Being ‘Irate’ and ‘Disruptive’

Philadelphia City Hall on Tuesday after he was allegedly seen recording video and taking pictures inside one of the voting booths. The official was described as being “disruptive” when he was asked to leave.

Politico reported Thursday that incident occurred just prior to Tuesday evening’s presidential debate, during which President Donald Trump directed his supporters to “go into the polls and watch very carefully.”

Per the report, James Fitzpatrick, the Pennsylvania director of Election Day operations for the Trump campaign, was escorted out of the City Hall offices by deputies of the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office. Election aides and officials from the sheriff’s office told the outlet that Fitzpatrick was seen “recording video on his cellphone” and became “disruptive and refused to leave when asked.”

. . .

“He was taking pictures and photos while inside the booth, being irate,” said Lundy. “He was also being disruptive. … He wasn’t there to be a poll watcher because poll watcher certificates weren’t issued.”

In many states it’s not allowed.

In Florida there are poll workers and official poll watchers from both party. They usually work well together.

If someone causes a problem or attempts to interfere with voting then police are called.

A couple examples -

TX - There is a LBN about Greg Abbott putting out a proclamation to remove ALL but one "mail-in drop box" from every county in the state of Texas - https://www.democraticunderground.com/10142593492

SC - The GOP in SC are suing to re-institute a mail-in vote "witness" requirement - https://www.democraticunderground.com/10142593546

PA - The GOP was about to start taking up legislation for debate and a vote to start "investigating the election", until they had to abruptly SHUT DOWN because one of their loon members tested positive AND was symptomatic, which forced them to cancel the vote and clear the chamber - https://6abc.com/pennsylvania-senator-covid-19-house-paul-schemel-masks/6695615/

I am trying to spot a pattern in addition to the obvious. I.e., someone doing an electoral count with various paths for getting to 270, and focusing on suppression in states they want to win.

Ironically (so far), I haven't heard either OH or AZ "in the news", so am not sure whether that means they feel they are "in the bag" and/or are "lost" (where the latter might be a conceding of AZ to go blue but not OH).

I had heard clips of the audio from their session yesterday on the radio when they were starting to discuss their suppression stuff in committee, and there was a showdown between one of the Philly reps - Malcolm Kenyatta and the GOP loon Committee chair, and Kenyatta went all Maxine Waters on the guy's ass.

The clip of the smackdown is the 2nd one on this page - https://www.radio.com/kywnewsradio/news/state/tempers-flare-over-gop-bill-to-oversee-pa-election-results

Kenyatta is not my State Rep. but wow.

Tempers flare over GOP legislation set to oversee election results in Pa.

By Jim Melwert
September 30, 2020 4:37 pm

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Republicans in the Pennsylvania House say an oversight committee is necessary for the upcoming election because, they claim, the state Supreme Court’s recent decision has “injected chaos” into the process. But as they push through the legislation, confusion and raw emotions were on full display in Harrisburg on Wednesday.

Republican state Rep. Garth Everett, chair of the State Government Committee and the resolution’s prime sponsor, said the bill would create a committee of three Republicans and two Democrats — selected by the speaker of the House — to investigate and review the election in Pennsylvania. Everett said the committee would only review the election after it ended, but Philadelphia-based Democratic state Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta said the resolution doesn’t make that clear.

“We heard the president say last night, ‘Bad things happen in Philadelphia,’ ” Kenyatta said of Tuesday night’s presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. “The reality is, bad things are happening in this committee. This is a bad bill that never should have been brought up.”

Members of the Philadelphia delegation questioned the language and timing of the legislation, as well as the structure of the committee. Kenyatta even accused Republicans on the committee of acting more like a “cult” than a committee. Contention between the two escalated to the point that Everett threatened to call security on Kenyatta.
