President Trump pressed lawmakers and members of the administration to reach an agreement on a new coronavirus stimulus package as he receives treatment for COVID-19.

“OUR GREAT USA WANTS & NEEDS STIMULUS. WORK TOGETHER AND GET IT DONE. Thank you!” he tweeted from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Saturday.

“This kind of changes the dynamic because here they see the reality of what we have been saying all along: This is a vicious virus, and it spreads,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on MSNBC on Friday.

“I'm trying to figure out here whether I should predict another bill quickly or not. But the talks have speeded up in the last couple of days,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said during an event in Kentucky. "I think we're closer to getting an outcome."

I have been certain that they were holding out until October on the stimulus in order to buy votes. This fits in with the timeline rather well, but if Mitch is going to take a couple of weeks off with the Senate because of the ones who contracted Covid 19 the timeline becomes more problematic.

But this is not Trump tweeting. When has he ever said "thank you" in a tweet or been relatively polite? I guess the ALL CAPS are an attempt to imitate his style, but no way this came from his thumbs. I can't imagine the staff at Bethesda would allow something like a germy cell phone in his room.

FTR, Cohen said in his book that he had access to Trump's twitter account and would send tweets under Trump's name. Is Scavino still there? Probably his work, if so.
