Biden says he'll debate Trump next week if it's deemed safe

Joe Biden on Monday said he is open next week to debating President Trump, who tested positive for COVID-19 last week and was hospitalized over the weekend — if it is deemed safe to do so.

"If the scientists say that it's safe and the distances are safe, then I think that's fine," Biden told reporters before boarding his plane to campaign in Florida. "I'll do whatever the experts say is the appropriate thing to do."

Trump 2020 communications director Tim Murtaugh said Monday that Mr. Trump intends to debate on October 15.

2/3 of Americans already don't trust the BS news from his doctors or him. Also, they don't think he handled Covid well and they don't think this experience will change his attitude and behavior as far as Covid id concerned. This will backfire on jim. He wants to interrupt and rant like before...and he lost that debate. Doing a rerun AFTER Covid will lose him more voters and make Biden look like the sane, responsible choice.

in the White House every day. And it's not only about the risk between 2 candidates and the moderators. The whole Trump clan is just so stupid and irresponsible that getting anywhere close to them is a health hazard.
There have to be better ways than putting all of the people involved into a single room.

The next event is a town hall event. VP Biden should not be party to an event that could infect ordinary citizens. The commission should pull the plug.
