Grand jury indicts St. Louis couple who pointed guns at protesters

Source: The Hill

A grand jury in St. Louis on Tuesday indicted Mark and Patricia McCloskey on counts of exhibiting a weapon and tampering with evidence four months after footage circulated showing the couple pointing guns at Black Lives Matter protesters outside their home.

The couple's attorney, Joel Schwartz, said the grand jury reached the decision after the McCloskeys appeared before a judge earlier in the day, NBC affiliate KSDK reported.

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner had issued felony charges against the couple in June for unlawful use of a weapon. The grand jury added the tampering-with-evidence charge on Tuesday.

Regardless, they are charged with felonies. Ones that could also result in a loss of law licenses.

Monkeyed with the firing pin after the act by reinstalling it incorrectly so it couldn't fire.

the reality is that the firing pins in most semi auto pistols are not super accessible. You have to remove a couple of pins to remove the firing pin group. In most cases those pins are never touched during the lifetime of the firearm. When you do (especially if you don't use the right tools), the pins get marred.

and indict the idiots on these charges. They deserve it, especially when it was simply people walking by (in peace). We don't need idiots freaking out when a group of people simply pass by on the sidewalks. Can you imagine this happening during Marti Gras in St. Louis ?

Never ever point a gun at someone. Rule number two, when you do never ever have your finger on the trigger. Rule number 3, go to jail.

...rotting in jail

first of all they should know that you only point your guns at something you intend to destroy.

second, because of first rule, they should be charged with attempting murder. imagine what happens when you point a gun at a police officer.
