Donald Trump Calls for AG Barr to Indict Joe Biden With 26 Days Until Election

Source: Newsweek

With less than one month until the election, President Donald Trump is calling for his attorney general to indict his challenger, former Vice President Joe Biden, for the "greatest political crime in the history of our country."

Russia has plagued the Trump administration since he took office and accusations he colluded with one of America's top adversaries to win the election called the validity of his victory into question. Democrats and Republicans both use a report from special counsel Robert Mueller to fuel their arguments in favor or against Trump, but recently declassified documents prove the improper behavior falls on Biden and former President Barack Obama, Trump claimed.

On Thursday, Trump told Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo that Biden and Obama "spited' his campaign and urged Attorney General Bill Barr to indict them because "we got plenty, you don't need any more." Without an indictment, Trump said, "we'll get little satisfaction," and he "won't forget it."

Newsweek reached out to the Biden campaign for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.

David Axelrod tweet about this story, minutes ago:

Ok, here’s the reality:
@POTUS is sick. He is taking drugs that could impact on his state-of-mind. And polls increasingly suggest that he is about to become the thing he can least abide: a loser.
Now it feels like he’s careening out of control.

Yet.

I am anxious to see who Biden's AG will be. Their first four years will involve "de-Nazifying" our government right down to local school boards. I'd also like to see Morris Dees replace Rudy Giuliani in whatever cockamamie title Trump bestowed upon him.

Actually, I bet he already contemplated it, but then thought of the consequences if it came to light that he had conspired to poison Biden. Much better to try to infect Biden with Covid during a debate. No way to prove that Biden caught it from him!

I want real justice, too. We need a righteous, aggressive, crusader of an AG, someone who actually gives a shit about upholding the Constitution, and who will not let Trump or anyone in his administration or any of his buddies or family members get a pass.

I wish that Stormy Daniels's attorney hadn't turned out to be a POS. We need someone smart and tough like him, but not a felon! Is that too much to ask for???

so far the U.S. has not gone full-on Ukraine...not yet.

[link:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yulia_Tymoshenko|]

In May 2010, the Ukrainian General Prosecutor's office started a number of criminal cases against Yulia Tymoshenko which prevented her from normal political activity and from international travel to her allies in the West. The European Parliament passed a resolution condemning the Yanukovych government for persecution of Tymoshenko as well as for prosecution in the "Gas case" and other cases against her and her ministers.[301] On 24 June 2011, a trial started in the "gas case", concerning a contract signed in 2009 with Russian gas company Gazprom to supply natural gas to Ukraine. Tymoshenko was charged with abuse of power and embezzlement, as the court found the deal anti-economic for the country and abusive.[302]

Tymoshenko's trial (she was charged in May 2011) for abuse of office concerning a natural gas imports contract signed with Russia in January 2009 started on 24 June 2011 in Kyiv.[303][304] A number of criminal cases were also opened against former officials from the second Tymoshenko Government.[305][306][nb 8] According to Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, those cases were indiscriminately made to fight corruption in Ukraine.[307][308][309] Former President Viktor Yushchenko testified against Tymoshenko during the trial, which he called "a normal judicial process."[310] The trial against Tymoshenko has been referred to as "selective justice" and "political persecution" in statements by the U.S., Russia, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain and other European countries; in statements by the European Union, NATO, the European People's Party; and in statements by human rights organizations such as Transparency International, Freedom House, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.[311] Following her conviction, Tymoshenko remained under criminal investigation for ten criminal acts;[312] Ukrainian prosecutors have claimed Tymoshenko committed even more criminal acts.[313]

Early in July 2011, the Ukrainian security service (SBU) opened a new criminal investigation into alleged non-delivery of goods by United Energy Systems of Ukraine (in 1996) to Russia for $405.5 million, the SBU maintains that Russia may claim this sum to the State budget of Ukraine (this criminal case was closed in Russia in December 2005 due to lapse of time).[59]

On 11 October 2011, the court found Tymoshenko guilty of abuse of power and sentenced her to seven years in prison, banned her from seeking elected office for her period of imprisonment, and ordered her to pay the state $188 million.[314][315][316] She was convicted for exceeding her powers as Prime Minister by ordering Naftogaz to sign the gas deal with Russia in 2009.[316][316] Tymoshenko did appeal the sentence, which she compared to Stalin's Great Terror,[314][316] on 24 October 2011.[317]

In fact, he thinks the USA is part of his property portfolio. He has acquired many assets by questionable means so why would the U.S.A. be any different.
He favors the poorer red states because they show him more deference, and treats the wealthier blue states as run-down low-income properties as he originally managed for Fred Trump. He never really was accepted and fawned over as he desired when he moved into Manhattan, so perhaps he has a psychological reason for hating blue state cities--he can't get the sycophantic adoration he craves.
