A hate group employee is now leading diversity & inclusion efforts in the Department of Education

Source: LGBTQ Nation

It has been revealed that a former hate group employee and anti-LGBTQ activist is now heading the Department of Education’s Diversity and Inclusion efforts.

Sarah Parshall Perry, a former employee of the hate group Family Research Council, has served as a senior counsel in Betsy DeVos’ Department of Education (DOE). After ‘reorganizing’ their Office for Civil Rights, which included taking two employee led councils – Diversity & Inclusion Council, and Employee Engagement Advisory Council – and combining them into one, department-operated group.

HuffPost has since learned that Perry was designated the co-chair of the new council less than two months ago. Employees spoke with journalists there, conveying that her leadership of the organization’s inclusivity policies “is ironic and disheartening.”

Besides being a leading anti-transgender voice at the Family Research Council while working there, up until a few months ago, as their Director of Partnerships. In fact, she is cited in the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Extremist Files” on the Council. She is the daughter of Christian radio host and author Janet Parshall.

“By ignoring underlying conditions, the demands of transgender supremacy ignore our unique kids, especially those with autism and mental health diagnoses. They deflect much-needed resources away from the pandemic of autism.”

There was never a time when the Family Research Council wasn't a hate group. From its founding until now - hate and bigotry. Nothing but.
