President of Central Florida company warns of layoffs if Biden wins presidency in letter to employee

Source: WFLA

ORLANDO, Fla. (WESH) – Workers at a Central Florida company are wondering about their job futures, and whether that has anything to do with how they vote.

The head of that company put letters in pay stub envelopes saying if President Trump doesn’t win re-election, they might lose their jobs.

Our NBC affiliate station WESH 2 News spoke to some of the 170 employees as they were heading home from Daniels Manufacturing in Orlando, where a Trump banner is displayed on the flag pole out front.

Some said they were voting for Trump, while others we spoke to said they were upset to receive a letter obtained through a company source from DMC president George Daniels.

Republicans are now doing their voter intimidation out in the open. What's next? Why not just bribe employees and call it an Economic Optimism bonus.

8. Biden needs to send those employees a message, a commercial, telling them they're going to be golden

in his new economy. There will be plenty of jobs to go around.

He needs to get this commercial to Florida immediately. It needs to be in all 50 states, telling people not to pay attention to blackmail by their employers. Their employers are already supporting the party that is trying to take away American's health care, social security, medicare, and trying to destroy the post office.

3. The owner of DMC is garbage. That sort of tactic should be illegal.

"Campaign finance records with the federal government show George Daniels has contributed more than $600,000 to President and PACs that are supporting him and other Republicans this election cycle"

If I would have received a letter like that, I'd be out looking for a new job immediately. I figure you can make at least as much money making pizzas or hamburgers as you can making crimpers, and the burger joints are always hiring.

24. Here are the vote-by-mail statistics for Florida.

Florida Vote-by-Mail Request & Early Voting Statistics

Democrats are ahead of Republicans in already returned vote-by-mail ballots by 1,190,549 to 730,180 (more than eight Democratic ballots for every five Republican ballots), and the number of already returned Democratic ballots is greater than the number of provided Republican ballots (1,067,712), of which only 68.4% have been returned so far.

It seems a bit late to try to influence voters here in Florida.

In my sate (MA) for example, UI benefits are capped at 26 weeks per year. So if you lost your job in april, you are on your last check now.

After that, it's welfare I guess. If you can qualify that is.

47. This is more common than you think

in 2012 I was employed by a consulting engineering company near Austin, TX. There were about 30 employees, 12 or so were Engineers, all white and all but one, male. They were wealthy and conservative.
The rest of us were hourly employees, and in October of that year, we had a meeting with the President and the Owner of said company. Several items were discussed, but the last 20 minutes or so was a fervent sales pitch as to why Obama was bad for the country, and a second term would be the ruination of the country's economy. Why, we just HAD to vote for Romney to save our jobs and our country! We knew that was bullshit, and thought so much less of those two after that. I left that company about a year later. Good riddance!

makes high end tools and tool kits for the aviation industry. The downturn of aviation business is the reason for any layoffs, I think. The CEO is just trying to inject politics into the situation. The company did pretty well under President Obama.
