Biden Looking to Longtime Aide Ron Klain for Chief of Staff

Longtime Democratic aide Ron Klain is the leading candidate to be presidential nominee Joe Biden’s chief of staff if Biden wins the election, according to several people familiar with the situation.

Klain was Biden’s vice presidential chief of staff and played a leading role in the Obama administration’s economic recovery and the Ebola crisis response.

Klain seems to be in charge of Biden's COVID-19 plan, he's been in charge of his debate prep, and I get the sense that he's been pretty involved in the bigger policy calls.

He seems like a really good choice.

Some of the other names that were talked about earlier were Steve Ricchetti, Jeff Zients and Cedric Richmond.

And we can wake up in the morning, and instead of grabbing our phones to see what horrible thing Trump has done while we've been sleeping, we can just have breakfast!

only allowing them to give the party line. Okay, maybe there should be some sorta consensus in communications, but not have it change every hour on the hour. Just do your job and get it down. It is what you are hired to do...man the torpedoes full steam ahead.

and since Ron Klein wrote about what a huge danger the coronavirus was back in January, he would be perfect as Biden's VP. Also, Klein has been working with the Biden campaign for months, and Biden trusts him.
