...didn't seem that way to me. It seems something forced their hand and Ratcliffe was trying to spin it a bit. But the overall message, especially from Wray is that the election will be safe and secure and don't let anyone intimidate you or let you believe there is massive fraud. It didn't sound like anything that was meant to help Trump to me beyond some minor commentary from Ratcliffe.

Thus, evidence of Iranian and Russian interference is the perfect opportunity for him to say the election was rigged due to foreign interference and then to refuse to concede.
My intention is not to say the information presented is faulty. Simply that Trump will attempt to use it as an excuse for his loss.

I guess we will see how things play out but Wray is far, far more trustworthy than Ratcliffe. As long as he says everything here is on the up and up, I'll at least give him the benefit of the doubt. He's not a trump loyalist and by all accounts he's honest and apolitical. Not really the type that would run interference for Trump. Very odd but I want to see more info before I rush to judgment about whatever that press conference was about.

interference in the elections has been discussed for some time now.
It just seems that this is perfect timing for an official announcement. Trump is going to lose and his excuse will be foreign interference, the same foreign interference that he denied existed in 2016 when he won will be what he blames for his loss.

No clue at to yet who is behind these emails - last reference was that they were supposedly from QAnon - but the actual source wasn't revealed by the FBI. Could be government agencies, could be some bored hackers.

And don't forget that people in Iran and Russia are subject to their own government's propaganda. What teenage Russian/Iranian hacker wouldn't want to be seen as a 'hero' because they attacked the enemy, the USA?
