Trump has list of top intelligence officials he'll fire if he wins reelection: report

Source: The Hill

Trump plans to fire several top officials in the national security sphere should he win reelection in November, Axios reported Sunday.

The president plans to fire Defense Secretary Mark Esper, CIA Director Gina Haspel and FBI Director Christopher Wray, two people familiar with his decisionmaking told the news outlet. White House officials declined to comment on personnel matters.

"We have no personnel announcements at this time nor would it be appropriate to speculate about changes after the election or in a 2nd term," White House spokesman Judd Deere told Axios.

One source close to Haspel added that the CIA director is considering leaving on her own, telling Axios, "Since the beginning of DNI's push to declassify documents, and how strongly she feels about protecting sources connected to those materials, there have been rumblings around the agency that the director plans to depart the CIA regardless of who wins the election."

If he had a Merriam-Webster, Funk & Waganlls & Wikipedia in front of him.

He'd think intelligence started with a "E".

Geesh. tRump doesn't even try to hide it. That or he's so stupid or doesn't care, he's willing to broadcast his intentions to carry out Putin's will on our Intelligence Community.

the people around him so that only the most compliant and sycophant types are utilized in his dictatorship.

He is interested in completely destroying our government and building it to serve HIM. If he gets four more years, that's what he will do.

from just removing people without just cause. The fact they won't lie, cheat and steal for him, is not that cause.

13. Perhaps we need a law that prevents any non-emergency legislation during the lame duck session.

I don’t know if that’s legal, but we should also try to outlaw non-emergency Executive Orders too. Only necessary budget bills should be allowed. When Trump loses, he will go all scorched earth and destroy everything he possibly can. If Republicans have lost the majority in the Senate, they will help him because they’ll have nothing to lose. Even though 22 of them are up for reelection in 2022, they know that their voters have short memories.

Trump has been so destructive the last year that I’m convinced that he is willingly working on Putin’s orders. He is a vindictive SOB, so I’m not sure what can stop him doing everything he can between November 4 and January 20 to create as much damage as possible, including staring a civil war by calling on his right-wing terrorist groups to attack anyone they choose. And we know who they would choose. Cities with large black populations need to be on the alert.

He will complete his overhaul of putting in place yes men in every intelligence and law and order leadership position. There will in effect no longer be any restraints left for him and Steven Miller etc to enact even more chilling policies. It will be non stop investigations of political enemies or just people that publicly embarrassed Trump.
