'It's pathetic': Clinton knocks Pompeo for vowing to release more of her emails
Source: Politico
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton dismissed her successor Mike Pompeos pledge to release more of her emails ahead of the election as pathetic, insisting that there is nothing of importance in her unreleased communications.
In an interview with The New York Times Kara Swisher, the former Democratic presidential nominee downplayed the new push, which came as President Donald Trump has continued to invoke his onetime rival in the final weeks of the 2020 campaign.
Despite Clintons name not appearing on the ballot this year, Trump has demanded that his Justice Department continue investigating her and expressed disappointment that Pompeos State Department has not released more emails from the private server she infamously used while leading the department.
An FBI investigation into Clintons email use resulted in no charges and an internal State Department investigation found last year that there was no widespread effort by her aides or other staffers to mishandle classified information.

Someone needs to tell the porkers Trump, Pomeo and Gooliani that Joe Biden is the Democratic candidate. It's not Hillary Clinton or Hunter Biden.

(32,853 posts)It's either a Dept. of Justice issue, or it's an FBI issue. Pompeo has nothing to do with law enforcement, and he has never been a prosecutor of any kind. The last time he practiced law was in 1998, and he was a corporate, not criminal, lawyer.
Of course we all know that no crimes were committed during Hillary Clinton's tenure, but doesn't this guy have anything better to do?
