Biden lead over Trump grows in Michigan; race is statistically even in North Carolina: Reuters/Ipsos
Source: Reuters
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden's lead over President Donald Trump in Michigan is looking increasingly comfortable but the two remain neck and neck in North Carolina, Reuters/Ipsos opinion polls showed on Tuesday.
Reuters/Ipsos is polling likely voters in six states - Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina, Florida and Arizona - that will play critical roles in deciding whether Trump wins a second term in office or if Biden ousts him.
Below is a state-by-state look at Reuters/Ipsos findings, based on the online responses of likely voters, which include responses from some who cast ballots ahead of the formal Nov. 3 Election Day. Early voting has shot to record levels amid the coronavirus pandemic:

(11,250 posts)I don't understand why more people think Trump is better on the economy. And I don't get how 40% of these states think that Trump "would be" better on handling the pandemic (even though Biden leads on that issue). Really? It's not a hypothetical.

Pennsylvania worries me. GOP tends to rabble rouse redneck areas and their voters are dumb as a suitcase of rocks. Was Keith Olbermann the first to coin that phrase? Plus Trump is in PA every day. 20% of PA votes already cast? That's good. Not as many to change their minds. Of course expect October Surprise from Trump Thursday. Could be fake vaccine, faked Biden scandal, free QAnon pizza, you just never know.
Turning Texas blue would solve most worries for us. Wonder how close we are? This high turnout nationally will leave long lines when the polls close, and Republicans headed to court to try to end the voting, and Democrats trying to extend hours for all in line. Could be noon the next day before all vote.
We need national mail-in ballots, 5-7 days of voting, and a Democracy holiday each election day. With such large turnout it's the only way to provide people with the chance to vote.

i feel like shouting why ads are not placed talking about how good Democratic Presidents are at building the economy.
