Judge Emmet Sullivan of the District Court for the District of Columbia granted an emergency motion against President Trump, according to the detailed order obtained by Politico. Sullivan granted the emergency motion to enforce and monitor compliance with the preliminary injunction issued late last month that prevented the administration from enforcing DeJoys operational changes.
The agency has until 9 a.m. on Wednesday to inform workers that DeJoys guidelines, implemented in July, limiting late and extra trips to collect mail, are rescinded.
The news comes as a record number of Americans have already cast their ballots for the Nov. 3 election through the mail as a safety precaution during the coronavirus pandemic.

(25,111 posts)majority of t-rump's administration needs to be investigated.
I'm standing in front of my house the other day. Police car initially stopped in the middle of the street and relayed to his office "I don't see postal truck".
Later that day, I finally see a person not in uniform deliver partial mailing to some homes on my block, my house not included. She told me maybe tomorrow.
I have not rec'd mail since Friday of last week. On Wednesday of last week I mailed my property tax payment, and as of this date, it has not been rec'd.
This is truly effed up.
