Trump hangs Lindsey Graham out to dry as South Carolina Senate race tightens: report

Source: alternet

October 28, 2020..................

.......................

In a likely a foreshadow of the days to come, Graham touted his relationship with President Donald Trump during a campaign rally Tuesday — even as the president was nowhere to be found.

"We got off to a rocky start. He beat me pretty badly," Graham told his crowd of supporters at a campaign rally in Greenville, South Carolina referencing his previous bid for the White House. But, now, Graham said, "we've got something in common; I like him and he likes me."

...................................

"Trump himself has not visited South Carolina to support his erstwhile ally, and likely will not before the Nov. 3 election, when Graham faces Democrat Jaime Harrison," they reported. "A former chair of the state's Democratic Party, Harrison entered the race a long shot but has turned the Senate contest into a toss-up race, after raising a record $100 million sum for his campaign from a national liberal base that detests Graham."

In fact, not only has the president appeared to abandon Graham, he did not even so much as tweet his support of the politically endangered senator.

He should have told Trump, she'll pass when I get reelected. He should have said the same thing to McConnell. I think McConnell gave him some cash but he isn't out singing Lindsey's praises.

It's like he's learned nothing from Trump.

Buying souls on the cheap are the only deals Trump is good at. Satan would be envious - when you sell your soul to the Devil you get a life of wealth and power, then you die and go to Hell. When you sell it to Trump you've just got a short time until he gets tired of you, and then the rest of your life you're in a Hell of humiliation and ignominy of your own making.

Trump is getting to be radioactive. I was a little surprised that he was attached to Ernst's hip in his last stop in Iowa. Greenfield hasn't run attack ads on that relationship - I am not entirely sure why.

IF....McGrath beat McTurtle, Gideon beat Collins, Mark beat McSilly, Greenfield beat Ernst, MJ beat Cornyn, Espy beat Hyde-Smith, Harrison beat Leningrad Lindsey, and Bollier beat Marshall.

ALMOST.

But after the last four years, I'd still have a hard time believe that some benevolent superior power really wanted all that to happen.

The Great Spirit has his work cut out for hm with the Tongass forest, too.

I think a lot of his begging for money and poor-mouthing has been pure bull$hit. Mitch has been taking care of Lindsey and Trump has a big lead in SC, so it's going to be very tough for Harrison to win.

I never had any hopes that South Carolina would toss Trump and Graham. There are still way too many racists in that state and confederate flag flyers.

I would love to be proven wrong.
