New Marquette Law Poll shows Biden maintaining his lead among likely voters in Wisconsin

WISCONSIN — A new Marquette Law Poll has been released, and it shows former Vice President Joe Biden still leading over President Donald Trump among 749 likely voters in Wisconsin.

According to the new poll, Biden is leading President Trump by five points. Biden currently has 48 percent of the likely votes, while President Trump has 43 percent, and Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen has 2 percent, with a margin of error of +/- 4.4 percent. Eight percent of likely voters said they were undecided or had no choice.

The poll also stated that among likely voters who have already voted, 64 percent of them have voted for Biden, 25 percent for Trump and 2 percent for Jorgensen. Of those who have not voted, 35 percent said they support Biden, 56 percent support Trump and 3 percent support Jorgensen.

The Marquette poll is considered the gold standard in WI.

Have to say--surprised to see 8 % are Undecided.

I.e.: 59% of those remaining are not Biden voters. It ain’t over!

If so many Biden votes have been cast, then the risk of adverse changes is minimized. Democrats can focus on exceeding expectations by mobilizing unlikely voters.

I may be statistically incorrect, but my observations have led me to believe that they tend to skew Republican.

In the Clinton / Trump fiasco their numbers were always different from other national polls asking the same questions.

A math geek could run the numbers to get an exact figure, but it looks like well over half of the registered votes would need to be waiting for Election Day to vote, in order for the R's to catch up.
