Republicans are narrowing the early voting gap in these states

Source: CNN

In four key states -- Florida, North Carolina, Nevada and Iowa -- Republicans are beginning to narrow the Democratic advantage in pre-Election Day voting.
More than 12 million ballots have been cast in these four states, which could be crucial in determining the next president.

The candidates' schedules reflect the focus on these states. President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden were both in Florida on Thursday campaigning for the state's 29 electoral votes. Later, Trump was set to travel to North Carolina, while Vice President Mike Pence was scheduled for campaign stops in Iowa and Nevada. Biden is due in Iowa on Friday.

And they are breaking heavily to Dem ticket.

And Dems outnumber Reps by about 300,000 registered voters.

and I think IA is about the Senate seat, I never expected Dems to turn it blue.

NV? Who knows.

FL? Democrats are due to breakthrough in FL. But from what I've read there's too many shenanigans. Those late results from the rural parts of the state ... who knows.

Don’t confuse it with mail in voting. Which is also common in Florida and is normally used more by republicans.

that there are going to be quite a few repubs who are going to quietly vote for Biden and not make a big deal about it. But there is nothing to keep them from voting straight repub on the rest of the ballot.

It's a reminder to get out and vote, to get others out to vote
All the happy joy posts about Democrats and early voting can create complacency on the part of some people.
Voting is important. Phone banking is important. Making certain your friends vote is important. As someone noted, taking people to drop boxes if they can't make it is important
It is always best to err on the side of caution
The OP is not saying that Republicans were never going to vote.
It's a reminder that il douche and his sidekick are able to get his supporters out to vote

First, it's not sky is falling. It's (apparently) factual
Second, it is good to know these things are happening so people don't get lazy and complacent (like in 2016 where lots of Democrats were..."Trump's gonna lose so why bother?" in states that made the difference)

It's an excellent reminder that not only do we need to vote, but to get others out (as someone up thread mentioned)
Or, are you arguing that only echo chamber unicorns and daisy posts should be put up?

is just because they are republican doesn't automatically mean they voted for the orange idiot.
It will be interesting to see how that factor plays out, especially in Florida.

Dems being ahead in all 4 states is a good thing as they only “need” Nevada while Florida, North Carolina, and Iowa are icing on the cake. I’ve watched the lead evaporate daily in Florida and won’t deny it is concerning, but it is possible a lot of vote coming in now is/was being expected to show up on Election Day in Florida and it will simply decrease R’s margins on the day of.

The party affiliation of a voter is not the same as how the person votes. The Republicans may very well be voting against Trump and for Joe.
