Kudlow, director of the National Economic Council, said at an Axios event that many financial industry leaders have "turned to the left" and "become very progressive."
Biden has raised more campaign contributions than Trump from executives and employees of investment firms and commercial banks, according to data compiled by Open Secrets. He has collected nearly five times more than the president from the securities and investment industry alone.
Kudlow, a Wall Street veteran who served as chief economist of investment bank Bear Stearns, said industry leaders would have "many, many regrets" under a Biden presidency. While Biden hasn't adopted the same anti-Wall Street rhetoric as Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) or Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), he would face pressure as president to embrace their views. Biden has said he plans to raise taxes on corporations and the wealthy.

(2,605 posts)To chide is to gently make fun of. This is not chiding. This is a not-so-veiled threat.
That seems to be all that is coming out of the White House these days. No plans, no empathy, nothing but threats against anyone who is not supporting or voting for him. He is assuming he will win and that he'll enact his revenge against everyone who opposed him once he's elected.
I really hope to see the expression on Trump's face as he realizes that the country has just fired him Tuesday night

(50,999 posts)well done with ketchup. If Trump was so good for the stock market, he wouldn't need to have the Fed pump trillions in stimulus, low interest rates, and massive tax cuts to prop it up.

When it crashes, it will have nothing to do with Biden. But of course, the rightwingnuts will point the finger.

(639 posts)Kudlow is part of the dinosaur faction of the GOP. The Neocons.
Neocons were the early 1950's anti-communist fear mongering faction of the GOP. Sen Joe McCarthy of Wisc was it's poster boy, along with Roy Cohn, the lawyer for McCarthy's UnAmerican Committee and Trump mentor.
Republicans often take people like Kudlow, as experts. Experts who have no education in the topic they are given 'expert' status within that party.
A neocon, of 1950's McCarthyism, Kudlow is outdated and cannot provide any useful information, other than 'we are all gonna die' spin.
If Kudlow perfers a market sector, divest from it ASAP
