Two states to require masks in public at all times, regardless of distance from others

Source: The Hill

Maine Gov. Janet Mills (D) and Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker (R) issued a stricter mask mandates this week as coronavirus cases continue to surge across the nation.

Mills issued her order on Thursday, requiring Mainers to wear masks in public spaces at all times, regardless of distance from others.

Previously, under the governor's executive order, people were not required to wear masks in public if they could stay at least six feet away from others.

Under the order, which took effect the same day it was issued, masks are required within indoor spaces "accessible to the public" including restaurants, grocery stores and houses of worship, and in outdoor spaces, like playgrounds, sidewalks and parking lots, regardless of distance from others.

I'd just always keep a mask with you and put it on when other people are around.

Get the kind that loops around your neck, that you can pull up when you see someone. It's not a muzzle. You can still talk though it.

They had everyone wearing N95's early on everywhere except their homes. Go to

and look up Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Cambodia, and Laos. You'll be shocked at how well
they have handled this pandemic, I am and believe we could learn things from them to help us. Laos
has only had 24 cases total since the pandemic started, my town has almost that many everyday. Laos
has 7.3 million people, my city is about 30 thousand.

There are signs on ever public door around here that a mask is required, but when you walk in, half the people aren't wearing them. I always say something, but workers just shrug it off. They often have their own masks under their noses.

my dogs. If someone is headed in my direction I pull the mask up unless they are on the other side of the street. The only time I don't cover my nose and mouth is when I am driving.
