JOE BIDEN DEFEATS DONALD TRUMP TO WIN THE WHITE HOUSE, NBC NEWS PROJECTS

Source: NBC

WILMINGTON, Del. -- Joe Biden became president-elect Saturday after winning the pivotal state of Pennsylvania, NBC News projected.

The former vice president amassed 273 Electoral College votes after winning Pennsylvania's 20 electors, according to NBC News, surpassing the 270 needed to win the White House and defeat President Donald Trump.

Biden's victory capped one of the longest and most tumultuous campaigns in modern history, in which he maintained an aggressive focus on Trump's widely criticized handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. A majority of voters said rising coronavirus cases were a significant factor in their vote, according to early results from the NBC News Exit Poll of early and Election Day voters.

Biden regularly criticized Trump as unfit for office and positioned his campaign as a "battle for the soul of America." He promised from the outset of his run to heal and unite the country if he won, and made central to his closing message a pledge to represent both those who voted for him as well as those who didn't when he got to the White House.

President Elect Biden overcame the odds and is now the 46th President of the United States. While we still have work to do - this calls an end to the tyranny of Trump and his flying monkeys. Together we can flush the shit down the drain and start to turn America towards a brighter future.

But let us not forget the history making election of Vice President Harris - the first female POC to serve in that position. She will be a tremendous leader for our country. Together they will restore American respect and American compassion to the world.

Something tells me she won't be just be doing what a lot of VP's have done ... basically nothing. Joe and she will come up with an area for her to tackle 'cause it's a mess in there.

I really hope Joe and she get the rest of the states too so the GOP's BS won't matter, even if they manage to peel off some Penn votes with some corrupt court.

But, it's a safe bet that Biden will also take NV and AZ for yet another 17 EV's. I predict it'll be 290 to 245 in favor of Biden/Harris.

I wish Joe and Kamala could have broken 300 EV's for the impact. But, I'll take what I can get at this point.

And, remember - the Orange Asshole and his minions aren't going to give up so easy. There are lawsuits and armed dumbasses yet to contend with.

Sat Nov 7, 2020, 02:10 PM
Nov 2020

I hate to rain on everyone's day, there are a few dates and steps that need to happen:

The first, obviously, was 11/3 is Election Day.

The next ones are the dates that each state certifies their election results. These dates range from 11/5 to 12/11.

After that, the Electoral College meets on 12/14 and vote.

Then there is the statutory deadline for the College to deliver Electoral Certificates to the president of the Senate, who is Vice President Mike Pence; the secretary of state of the state where the electors met; the archivist of the United States; and the federal district court judge of the district where the electors met is 12/23.

On January 6, the newly sworn in Congress counts the Electoral College votes. If, for some reason, the Electoral College votes are not resolved, Congress will then vote/select the President and Vice President.

Then on January 20, the President/Vice President are inaugurated.

So, despite what the network talking heads might say, there still is the better part of 2 months where the Orange asshole can maneuver and manipulate to change the end result.
