Giuliani seeks to represent Trump in Pennsylvania election case

Source: CNN

Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, formally told a federal court that he will represent the Trump campaign in its long shot case to block Pennsylvania from certifying votes.

The case and whether it should be dismissed will be argued in federal court on Tuesday afternoon. With Giuliani's entrance in court, the hearing is now set up to be what may be the grand finale of the Trump campaign's flailing effort in court to stop the formalization of President-elect Joe Biden's win.

It's not known yet if Giuliani himself will argue the case, or if he will leave that to central Pennsylvania lawyer Marc Scaringi, who also joined the legal effort at the last minute.

The development is the latest in a wild legal scramble for Trump. Since the Pennsylvania case was filed in federal court six days after the election, the Trump campaign has swapped lawyers twice. First, a mid-sized regional firm pulled out of the case, and Monday night the second group of lawyers withdrew, following a decision by Giuliani who had taken over Trump's election strategy in court.

I don't know Rudy. If your court room demeanor is anything like your antics on TV Trump has already lost.

since Giuiliani seems to have forgotten most of what he learned in law school.

All of this bullshit started over some anonymous rando's post on a right wing web site.

That does not automatically mean that they can practice in a particular federal district court.

He was once a U.S. Attorney in SDNY but certainly not here in Philly's Eastern District (assuming that is where he is taking it).

(CNN)Rudy Giuliani, representing President Donald Trump's campaign, delivered a sweeping broadside against mail-in voting Tuesday in a federal courtroom as part of the campaign's long shot case to block Pennsylvania from certifying votes.

Giuliani argued in a courtroom in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, that the Trump campaign has been blocked from observing ballot processing in key cities and saying Democrats could have conspired to commit election fraud by counting absentee votes -- both assertions others judges have rejected repeatedly in court as unfounded or wrong.

With Giuliani's entrance in court, the hearing may be the grand finale of the Trump campaign's flailing effort in court to stop the formalization of President-elect Joe Biden's win.

"If this is allowed without serious sanctions, this will become an epidemic," Giuliani told Judge Matthew Brann, in his first oral arguments before a trial judge in decades. "It just all happened to be in big cities controlled by Democrats who all of a sudden decided you don't have the right to inspect an absentee ballot. ... You'd have to be a fool to think this was an accident."

Picking up shit that didn't stick the 15th time and throwing it at the wall AGAIN. Rudy....I don't think that's quite what Goebbels meant. Repeating the same bullshit only works with rubes, no judges. The later tend to get pissed when you waste their time.
