All of Wisconsin's 72 counties have concluded canvassing ballots cast in the 2020 presidential election, and now the state awaits a decision from the Trump campaign on whether or not it will call for a recount.

Canvassing is an essential elections process that consists of confirming that all the ballots cast have been counted, and for the correct candidates.

The updated projected totals on Tuesday give two more votes to Joe Biden, and zero votes to President Donald Trump. During the canvassing process so far, Biden has gained a total of 211 votes, compared to Trump's 63 total votes.

Regardless, some movers and shakers in the state have suggested otherwise. Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) has called for an investigation into potential voter fraud, but also acknowledged last week that he thought it "unlikely" that the state would find enough evidence of fraud to change the results of the election.

President Trump's election campaign has said it will call for a recount in Wisconsin. The campaign can file for a recount in the state between now and 5 p.m. Wednesday. .........................

I haven't checked what's being said, but I am certain they are saying something along the lines of "Biden gaining votes only proves there was massive voter fraud, because.... Well, because, Trump says so." and "Of course Biden has more votes because they added ballots illegally"

There is not possible way to ever get them to think otherwise. But this is why I asked these people ahead of time what they will think if the recount comes back in favor of Biden or doesn't change anything. I'm curious how many of the "we will accept it" people will have new talking points. oh wait, this is just the end of canvas. I thought Wisconsin already started a recount. Hmmmm.
