Trump accuses Pfizer and Moderna of working to stop his re-election
Source: Independent UK
Donald Trump has accused Pfizer and Moderna of working to stop his re-election by delaying their Covid vaccines.
The outgoing president again made the false claim he had won the election as he gave a White House press conference on lowering drug prices.
And he claimed that regardless of a vaccine breakthrough the Democrats would have found the ballots someplace to beat him.
Big pharma ran millions of dollars of negative advertisements against me during the campaign, which I won by the way, said Mr Trump.

(1,325 posts)Exactly how stupid does he think everyone else is??? As stupid and gullible as his base??? He is dealing with normal, rational people now, not his moron cult members. Will he still be saying that when he is in his prison cell?

(854 posts)Didn't he declare himself more or less as 'the smartest person ever in the history of smart people?'
His delusions of grandeur have been a hallmark of his whole life. I've known more than one dumbass who's thought that they were so much more clever than anyone else in the room. More times than not they're complete idjits and fools. And obviously so. Dump just takes that attitude to a whole other level. If he hadn't been born into wealth absolutely no one would have ever given him a second glance. Without that wealth, his whole life would have revolved around saying 'do want fries with your order?' (Not denigrating fast food workers. I was one in HS and college - it served a purpose at the time, but never as a career choice.)

(5,388 posts)When you have that feeling, that the whole world is against you, but you just KNOW you won, you start making lists of all those who are against you. Add Pfizer and Moderna to the growing list. And it's a long one . . .
Facts versus feelings. Trump's gut feelings triumphs all. Numbers don't matter, only his gut feelings.
You are all against him!
Explanation: Trump has gone mad.

(7,294 posts)First he tells them to hurry hurry hurry! rush that vaccine! and when they do, in record-breaking time.... but because they are TWO WEEKS later than he wanted, but yet YEARS AHEAD of typical development.... he concludes they dragged their feet to spite him.
The world truly *does* revolve around you Donald, doesn't it?

(30,811 posts)But even if they did (which I rather doubt since they are in intense competition with each other), so what? There is nothing illegal about a business opting to delay an announcement to impact an election.
Of course, anything that hurts Trump's prospects in any way is 'mean and unfair'.
