Michigan House public hearing announced by Trump campaign not happening

LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Trump Administration announced Tuesday that a public hearing would be held with the Michigan legislature on Dec. 1 to discuss the Nov. 3 election. According to a communications advisor for the House Republican Caucus Services, that isn't true.

The Trump campaign said in a press release that the Michigan, Pennsylvania and Arizona legislatures would be holding public hearings "in an effort to provide confidence that all of the legal votes have been counted and the illegal votes have not been counted in the November 3rd election."

“We are pleased that the State Legislatures in Pennsylvania, Arizona and Michigan will be convening hearings to examine the November 3rd presidential election,” said Trump campaign Senior Legal Advisor and Personal Attorney to President Donald J. Trump, Jenna Ellis. “There were serious irregularities, we have proof of fraud in a number of states, and it is important for all Americans to have faith in our electoral process. All we have wanted from the outset is to count every legal vote and discount every illegal vote.”

Denny Schwarze, communications advisor with the House Republican Caucus Services did not provide any further details regarding the claim of public hearings.

And the PA thingie is not a legislative hearing either, just a bunch of disgruntled Repub state senators gathering at a Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg.

3. Yeah that PA thing sounds almost like a "town hall" because it certainly isn't in Harrisburg

in any of the State Senate hearing rooms. I.e., based on the PA Senate page, it lists this -

I believe BOTH chambers of the PA General Assembly are in recess pending the seating of the new Assembly on December 1st so this is all kabuki theater because someone is not getting enough media attention now that President-elect Biden is capturing the news cycle with his transition activities. It's probably going to be like an "upgrade" to the Four Seasons Landscaping fiasco with an attempt to legitimize it with elected representatives.

We need to get the media to STOP covering their nonsense NOW. Joe Madison was actually just talking about this the past 5 minutes and he's calling it their "conscientious stupidity" (as a quote from MLK about what was considered "the most dangerous things" ). My take - they have to keep feeding their idiotic and addicted base their crack.

I wish to hell they would get the fuck out of my state. Over the past 10 years, they have poisoned it. I don't even recognize it anymore.
