Romney blasts Trump lack of leadership during pandemic: 'It's a great human tragedy'

Source: The Hill

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Thursday night issued a scathing condemnation of President Trump’s leadership during the coronavirus pandemic, calling the president's rhetoric a “great human tragedy.”

Romney, one of Trump’s most prominent Republican critics, was asked by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer where Trump’s leadership is as he continues to push unfounded conspiracy theories about the election as the coronavirus surges across the nation.

"Well, this hasn't been the focus of his rhetoric, apparently, and I think it's a great human tragedy, without question," Romney said.

The senator added that the “extraordinary loss of life is heartbreaking — and in some respects unnecessary.”

Mitt alone voted to convict. He has earned the right to say something.

He's a self-serving coward with his finger up in the air.

When the air was blowing towards Trump, Myth was on his knees begging Trump for a boon.

Don't be fooled by anything he says.

They have walked hand in hand and jammed every Trump thing down the American people's throat without once ounce of morality.

You sat silent and let the shit happen and only now that he is going to be gone you grew your pair of courage...

Prepare to meet your maker because he will have some questions for you when you leave this world. It won't be what you have done right but things you SHOULD have done and were negligent and harmful, those are the questions your maker will ask you before he decides if you stay or take the slide straight to hell.

Because you have an astute scum detector.

He represents everything wrong with American politics -- both sides.

People like Myth are why "The Swamp" allegations get traction. Because there are plenty of scum like him in DC.

That you can still vote for soul crushing legislation like cutting food stamps, separating children, denying relief for the needy, blocking Wall Street regulations, tax cuts for the wealthiest...etc... and STILL oppose Trumpism.

And he has supported Trump's position every step of the way up until very recently. With Romney you always have to pay attention to what he does rather than what he says. And what he is doing is to support Trump every step of the way.
