Pro-Trump, anti-Trump rallies planned for D.C. today

WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Expecting thousands of people turning out for pro-Trump and anti-Trump rallies Saturday, D.C. police have announced street closures and parking restrictions for the weekend.

With the Electoral College scheduled to vote on Monday, December 14, most of the marchers are supporting the president’s attempts to overturn the November 3 election.

Already on Friday night, D.C. police worked to separate Black Lives Matter protesters and Proud Boys near Black Lives Matter Plaza. Five protest arrests were made.

Other rallies, not supporting the president, are also expected, including at Black Lives Matter Plaza.
