Presidential adviser Stephen Miller claims “an alternative” group of electors will vote to certify President Donald Trump as the winner of the 2020 election on the morning ahead of the electoral college vote that will certify President-elect Joe Biden’s election win.

“The only date in the Constitution is January 20, so we have more than enough time to right the wrong of this fraudulent election and certify Donald Trump as the winner of the election,” Miller said.

“As we speak, an alternate slate of electors in the contested states is going to vote and we are going to send those results to Congress,” he added.

The definition per Webster: "incitement of resistance to or insurrection against lawful authority"

If they are not charged with it this time then we will be repeating the mistake that was made after the end of the active, or hot, part of the Civil War. The leaders of that seditious act got away with it last time, heck, monuments to those leaders were allowed to be displayed in public. I hope I'm wrong but it sounds like you might be okay with them getting off scot free with this again.

I am not and I hope as a party we are willing to make sure these people understand that actions have consequences. To behave in this manner at any time is an action of sedition, to act this way during a time of public health crisis is beyond the pale.

a different set of Electors is presented to Congress, Miller and the Electors will have committed sedition and should be arrested on the floor of the Congress when it happens.

A lot of action depends on how tired of something you are. Your enemy keeps at it until you are exhausted and willing to look the other way.

It absolutely will be sedition that is punishable. If the Dems are too tired to enforce the law, then that is one thing. But, it doesn't mean it isn't sedition. If the Repubs get away with it, where the second set of Electors is just turned away, then they will do it again. Or, something worse. They have to be punished, the same way we get punished for running a stop sign. The orderly conduct of our government depends on the process.

All the House and Senate do is receive a report of the certificates of Election that each State has submitted.
