Trump pardons former Rep. Chris Collins

Source: Buffalo News

"Today, President Trump granted a full pardon to Chris Collins, at the request of many Members of Congress," the White House said in a statement that did not offer any further explanation of Trump's action.

The Collins pardon was one of several the president issued. Two other congressmen-turned-felons, Duncan Hunter of California and Steve Stockman of Texas, were also pardoned. Hunter and Stockman, like Collins, are Republicans.

New York GOP Rep. Chris Collins arrested on insider trading charges

Rep. Chris Collins, R-N.Y., has been arrested on insider trading charges lodged by the Justice Department, law enforcement officials said Wednesday morning.

The indictment obtained from a federal grand jury also charges Collins' son, Cameron Collins, as well as the father of his fiancee, Stephen Zarsky.

In June 2017, Collins passed nonpublic information about Innate's drug trial results to his son in order to help him "make timely trades in Innate stock and tip others," the indictment alleges.

At the request of many members of Congress. They left out “that think they are above the law”. Hell, he pardoned that morally repugnant Blagojevich.

Where are the pardons for people of color or poor people in general who get crushed by the retribution system?

Btw, the pardon of Marc Rich was a disgusting act too.
