Poll: 69 percent back Biden's federal mask mandate

Source: The Hill

Nearly 7 in 10 Americans back President-elect Joe Biden’s proposal for a nationwide mask mandate, according to a Vox/Data for Progress poll released Thursday.

The survey found 69 percent support for the mandate, which would be in place on federal property open to the public such as courthouses and post offices.

Pollsters found even higher support for a general requirement for masks to be worn in public places, at 72 percent. Sixty-six percent said masks should be required in the presence of anyone outside one’s own household.

Despite frequent partisan splits in surveys about mask mandates, the poll found majorities of both Democrats and Republicans supported the latter two proposals, albeit a smaller majority of Republicans.

If Trump would have said wear a mask his cult would be threatening us at gun point to wear one. How many lives would have been saved?

we'd be in a FAR better place right now. In his little pea-brain he saw this pandemic as a personal attack on his image, and thus caused hundreds of thousands of deaths. ALL he had to do was say "wearing a mask will save lives".

...a little more than 30 % voted in a German election to support a horrific leader. Due to a locked political system, that leader became the dictator of Germany and eventually caused a war that killed millions of people in Europe, and later that war spread to Asia....
...Yes, that 30% is as stupid as one can imagine..but they are there, and they have children,
and their children have children. Some of those children escape the madness, but some don't.
......And that is where the "fucking morons," come from, have been, and are today....

..................And are likely to be in the future......... ...........

I don't want to reincarnate as anything, ever. If I have an option or voice in the matter I vote "no thanks".
