But I’m not going to be bullied into subservient sympathy for him when his winning strategy was to risk Covid-19 infection by not wearing a mask and flaunting attempts to protect others.

This was an inevitable event, Louisiana Republicans should be yelling “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED at the top of their lungs. They are accessories to negligent homicide.

That this young man died as a direct result of Trumpco's misguidance, as so many have.

I do not celebrate his death, rather my anger toward those who sucker people into sharing their self serving utter stupidity multiplies exponentially.

While he may have been making the attempt with masking and other precautions, he was still a pubbie after all and somewhere in his views and his intermingling with his followers, he was likely not forcefully pushing CDC or other suggested health guidelines for the pandemic. Admittedly I say this without not ever even hearing of his name before, just an assumption based upon the current culture of those of that ilk. The ones I really feel sorry for are his children.

Covid is one strange virus. I knew people who got it in their 70's and were in worse shape than Trump, and they said they were out and about the house, just feeling a bit under the weather. Then this guy gets it at 41 and dies, and seems to have been in pretty good shape. RIP.

to us now because there is still so much that we don't know about this new coronavirus. In time we might discover some genetic mutation that is beneficial to people who have mild cases or no symptoms.

I read a UK report done about people who survived the Plague in a small village. A genetic researcher discovered a specific mutation that appeared in Europe around the time of the first Plague wave that protected people from it. Of course it increased with each wave of the Plague since people without it died while people with it survived to have children who inherited it.

So the researcher used a specific village to confirm his findings. During an outbreak in the 1600s, the village had voluntarily self-isolated when the first cases occurred, to protect other villages. They received supplies delivered at a distance outside the village. One woman was known for looking after the ones who did get sick. Another had become very sick but recovered. These were village legends, but it turned out that the majority of villagers did survive.

Most of the modern villagers are descendants of the 1600 population. The researcher did DNA testing on direct line descendants of the families known to have survived or who never got sick. He found that all of them had at least one copy of the mutation. Some had two copies.

He tested several regions of Europe that were hit hard by the waves of Plague and found very high numbers of people with this mutation. He believes that a chance mutation was beneficial and increased with each wave as those with it survived while those without it died.

As with the Medieval Plague, social factors are also a large part of the picture with covid 19, but both genes and social environment probably are factors.

They were older and in even worse shape than Trump, and told me when they got it they just felt under the weather, and were moving around the house and yard while under quarantine. This was April too.

Then this guy gets it at 41, in way better shape, and dies. It's a horrific virus.

But photos on his Twitter page show he had an inconsistent record of wearing masks while campaigning, sometimes covering his face at meet-and-greets but also speaking indoors without a mask to rooms of mask-free residents, the Washington Post reported.

At a candidate forum in October, Letlow urged the state to ease pandemic restrictions, saying, “We’re now at a place if we do not open our economy, we’re in real danger.”

After his symptoms worsened earlier this month, Letlow was first taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, where he sounded a hopeful note on Dec. 21, tweeting that he was “confident” in his recovery.

While I'm sorry for his family's loss...I got nothing for him! He was just another anti-choice and anti-gay marriage, lemming...it would have given the Republicans another bobble head doll, in the House!

If he did catch COVID while attending a party without wearing a mask, that was his choice...and as the old Knight said in the movie..."he chose poorly!".
