Sens. Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson go on defensive after rejecting election results

Republican senators who object to the November presidential election results went on the defensive Sunday, with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) urging his critics to “calm down.”

“We need to tone down the rhetoric. This is already a volatile situation. It’s like a tinderbox and throwing lit matches into it,” he said on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Cruz also moaned that Democrats are “urging that I should be arrested and tried for sedition and treason,” without providing any examples.

The pity party came after Cruz became the most prominent pol to say over the weekend he would reject the election results.

1. Eh, trying to overthrow the valid results of an election (which I suspect very strongly

suspect results in KY and other southern states, especially viewed in light of how much trump is whining about losing etc.), it makes me really wonder if there was, in fact, cheating, but that it was done to boost trump's numbers.

Cruz is beginning to realize the depravity of his treasonous act to not certify Joe Biden's totally valid election win (especially without any evidence). Cruz also knows who really needs to tune down the rhetoric.

I suggest that he look in the Senate chamber bathroom mirrors (the republican one since democrats I'm sure are not allowed in this particular bathroom). He'll see exactly who is whining and ranting w/o evidence about the 2020 election results.
