Biden Win Confirmed, Trump Concedes Defeat Hours After US Capitol Siege

Source: NDTV

Donald Trump immediately released a statement pledging an "orderly transition" but suggesting he would remain in frontline politics, amid speculation that he may run again in 2024

Lawmakers in the Senate and House of Representatives successfully beat back Republican efforts to deny Biden the electoral votes needed to win, prompting loud cheers when the certification was announced.

The affirmation of Biden's 306-232 victory over Trump in November essentially closes the door on the unparalleled and deeply controversial effort by Trump and his loyalists to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

The president immediately released a statement pledging an "orderly transition" but suggesting he would remain in frontline politics, amid speculation that he may run again in 2024.

And even if they ARE crazy enough to nominate Trump again, wanna bet who is NOT going to be his VP? It‘s a white-haired guy, with an assistant he calls „Mother,“ running a corner pharmacy in Indiana somewhere who tells people fifteen times a day, „yeah, I know I look just like him, but no, I‘m not THAT Mike Pence.“

As opposed to what he has been doing. Seriously though, I expect Pence to run next cycle, and to drop out of the race after Super Tuesday.

However, I expect Trump not to be able to run. Forget the tax evasion and money laundering charges I used to think they’d get him on; they now have a clean Inciting Insurrection rap to hit him with.

and McConnell let’s the Senate cast a real verdict to find the “president" guilty, he will be forever barred from running for office again. I think that would be the best way to go. Shouldn’t take long. 50 Democrats and 16 Republican Senators are all that would be needed to keep this fungus breeding mushroom-penised loser out of political office forever. That way, even if New York State let’s him walk, he won’t ever be able to seek a position of power in this country -- not by election, anyway. And if he opens his fat, drooling, seditious mouth over the public airwaves after he gets thrown out of the White House, he could be arrested like any common traitor and tried for sedition.

And don’t let’s forget little Donnie who strode the boards in the prep for the sacking of the Capitol Building, inveighing against the American system and calling indirectly for the angry mob to take violent action.

And melting Rudy.

They and many, many others need to be arrested, indicted, tried, and sentenced as seditious traitors.

To turn a joke about lawyers to better effect: What do you call a large, shit-filled concrete room filled with Trump’s loyalists, and oldest sons and daughter, all rolling around, coughing and gasping in their own filth? That’s right: “A good start."

They still won't have time to hold the Senate trial before his time runs out. Plus, I STILL don't think 17 Republicans Senators will vote to convict. If Trump's mob had been able to beat Moscow Mitch within an inch of his life on camera, THEN, maybe. But they didn't, and I don't think even McTurtle would vote to remove from office. Censure--MAYBE.

If it does, well, let’s look into other charges, charges against which a former president cannot claim immunity. Maybe go straight for sedition and, if we’re too shy to take him to trial, at least force a settlement where Trump would have to agree to stay out of the public’s eyes and ears.

And then let New York State take care of putting him in prison.

I am going to be very saddened by inaction against this now provably treasonous turd -- and his oldest sons, his daughter, his “lawyer,” Rudy and maybe a couple of dozen other people closely connected to him and his traitorous regime. Notice I said “I am going to be saddened by inaction” not “I would be very saddened if there were inaction.” Because I think the Federal Government is going, stupidly and unpatriotically, to do as little as possible here and hope that the situation will be considered satisfied with a few token arrests.

Also, I haven’t heard about any moves to arrest anyone. Not the big shots who incited the mob, and not the nihilist mob, itself. I know it’s a tired trope by now but, dammit, if 20,000 Black or Hispanic people had done what those diseased and unwashed POS’s did, there’d be hundreds dead and thousands in jail, beaten, hungry, and denied water. But here we have videos which can easily be used to ID a hundred or so people and nothing has happened. They were all allowed to walk away, to go home.

The FBI is asking for information -- asking for information when the faces of the traitors can be seen clear as day on the internet, on YouTube, twitter, what have you. CNN has already identified a dozen or so -- by name, organization, and home grounds. So what the hell is the F.B.I. doing? I know, I know, the law has to proceed according to protocols that guarantee fairness -- but when? When the cops break into the wrong house and hold a woman at fucking gunpoint while they ransack her home even after being notified that they were at the wrong address? That kind of fairness? Or when they break into an apartment looking for someone who hadn’t lived there in months and murder a woman in her bed? That kind of fairness? Or maybe when they bust a guy for a minor crime and murder him slowly while he pleads for mercy and bystanders beg the police to ease up because they were clearly murdering the man? That kind of fairness?

14,000 people got busted in BLM rallies and marches in D.C. to protest the killing of Black men and women -- and children if you remember (as I do) Tamir Rice who was shot dead without so much as a “freeze and get on the ground” from the pig who murdered him. 14,000 people versus, how many white cock-suckers got busted last night for ransacking and the Capitol Building and threatening the lives of every Senator, Representative, and staff member? Oh, 15! Wow, that’s what I call fairness.

Just wondering how Putin would have handled a similar effort against the Kremlin? No, I’m just kidding. I’m pretty sure I know how he would have handled it -- his reaction would have been swift and final. But now, of course, old Vlad must just be rolling on the floor, laughing his commie butt off at how freaking weak American so-called “justice” is in the face of insurrection.

(I’ll save my questions about the police and security in general for another rant.)

During the impeachment, the fascist republicans would not vote to remove despite overwhelming evidence of Trump's traitorous dealings with Russia. The criminal republicans still support Trump despite the violent, seditious attack on the Capitol yesterday. Democrats must say it out loud that republicans are the enemy of this democracy and act accordingly. Jail every single seditionist and conspirator. War criminals walked free after the Bush/Cheney regime. That can't happen again.
