Minneapolis Police Union Head to Retire Early
Lt. Bob Kroll was an outspoken critic of the city’s handling of unrest after the killing of George Floyd

Lt. Bob Kroll, the outspoken head of the Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis, said Monday he plans to retire at the end of the month, citing family reasons.
Mr. Kroll, who said in a letter announcing his retirement to union members that he had served on the city’s police force for 32 years, moved up initial plans to retire in May.
“After reviewing the bigger picture, it is in my family’s best interest for me to retire four months early,” said Mr. Kroll, who was elected president of the union in 2015.
He came to national attention after initially defending the four officers involved in the killing of George Floyd last summer. He later said in a series of interviews with local media that the firing of then-officer Derek Chauvin, who planted his knee on Mr. Floyd’s neck for an extended period, was justified.
Mr. Kroll didn’t respond to a request for comment.

It is LONG PAST TIME for all cops to have liability insurance...PAID FOR BY THEIR UNION!
Then when every cop in the union gets hurt from massive payments to the damaged public, maybe, just maybe they will insist the offending BAD cops get thrown out.
