Source: CNN

The question of who will represent Trump remains unanswered. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said at a news conference Thursday that the House was "ready" to begin the trial but would wait until the Senate was prepared before formally transmitting the impeachment article, the step that would begin the trial the following day. "They have now informed us they are ready to receive, the question is other questions about how a trial will proceed, but we are ready," Pelosi said of the Senate. 1. Impeachment Inquiries
involve strong subpoena protocols, IIRC , shouldn't NP be taking advantage to either expand , reinforce charges?

2. NO power-sharing!
That's a load of crap!
McConnell has ridden rough-shod over Dems for the past 12 years, and now he's whining about sharing power?! You wouldn't be having this discussion if rethugs had won. Tell him to take a hike, Schumer! ![]() |

3. thoughts
Could she waiting until the power sharing agreement is finished in the Senate?
My first thought was the turtle said no till the 19th, so may as well wait till the new Senate is sworn and seated. |

4. What's the rush?
Restricting Trump's ability to run in 2024 is the only payoff for post term Impeachment.
Slowly and methodically issue subpoenas, gather your evidence , keep it in the news and go for it when you have some free time or it is politically useful. |

5. There's no hurry, and more important business that has to be taken care of right away.
FBI is still collecting evidence, looking for insurrectionists. Let Dump stew a while.
