Cruz Thinks It's 'Time To Move On' From Deadly Insurrection He Enabled

During an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday night, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) railed against Democrats’ push for impeaching ex-President Donald Trump for inciting the attack on the Capitol, which ultimately led to five deaths.
“They’re engaging on an act that I think is petty, I think it is retribution, I think it is vindictive, and I think it’s a waste of time,” the Texas Republican complained.
“And so to coin a phrase, I think it’s time to move on,” he continued. “It’s time to move on and focus on helping people get back to work, helping people beat this global pandemic, bringing America back to where we should be, not these partisan games the Democrats are playing.”

If you believe that defending the Constitution is partisan (some petty, vengeful, Democratic distraction) then you are a traitor, and your party is chock-full of traitors for whom the Constitution reserves a very specific and permanent penalty.

We are going to pursue the matter sufficiently so that it never happens again. But, let's be clear about it. Trump started it so he could retain power like a dictator, regardless of the will of the People. And the Republican Party backed him up, as Party Over Country is what they do.
We may not get him convicted, but that won't be because he doesn't deserve it. The entire country will get to see how close we came to having an actual dictator. And, assholes like Cruz are enablers, chickenshits, and unfit for office the same as their Dear Leader, Orange Turd Man.
He wants us to move on from him having to obstruct this trial so he can obstruct Biden. FO, Ted Cruz.

Besides all of us sitting here, contemplating our navels and tell each other what an idiot Ted Cruz is, HOW IS HIS POINT OF VIEW BEING REFUTED???? Has our anti-propaganda office picked this up, made commercials, and somehow played this for all of the cult members to hear that there is another side to this????
I'm thinking that pushing back against the RW media is going to be our Achilles Heel, and until we AS A PARTY figure out how to push back and speak the truth as loudly and unabashedly as they do, We will continue to loose the information wars, and hence, elections.
