It’s Down to Just 8 States for Obama and Romney

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by NancyBlueINOklahoma (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum).

Source: National Journal

Iowa, Ohio, Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, and North Carolina.

If they are assuming that Wisconsin is off the table, that is a pretty good map.

All Obama has to do is pickup Ohio and Nevada (both places where he has held leads for a long time) and it is over.

I've seen this movie before, the Mighty Wurlitzer is not about to corral Obama at this late date.

and went to bed knowing Kerry had won...They have billions to spend to steal this and watching the Gallop polling it looks like they are right on target. If Ohio becomes tied or a 1 point lead or something like that its over and the fix is in.

I would be shocked if he doesn't win Ohio, IA, and Colorado. I am pretty sure about VA and Nevada. NC will be tough, and Florida is 50/50. We are in very good shape but must press Forward!

I live in Texas and believe me, it's very frustrating. All these idiots down here voting against their own best interests time and time again. Fortunately, we have the sensible states making up for the south's ignorance.

I'm worried about those machines. I really am.

Robme and his camp are too smug. They act as if they have this thing in the bag.
