(7,611 posts)I don't think we have heard half the story about Trump's phone calls in the months after the election. At one point he tweeted out the cell phone numbers of Mich. Republican officials who wouldn't do his bidding. A lot of calls were made to PA. A lot has yet to come out.

I'm quite curious as to whether or not they undertook this audit purely on the basis of being pressured by Trump to conduct one.

His civil and criminal exposure should make him VERY AFRAID. Sadly, he has lived a life where he has NEVER been held to account for his deeds.
His idiot followers will, however, not be swayed. He owns them. No evidence will be powerful enough to make them believe that he is not being persecuted.

(1,105 posts)biggest mistake the Orange Grifter made was holding the office of POTUS. Had he remained a private citizen he could have continued the shell game, money laundering, and crime family operations until he died and handed the mess off to his misbegotten offspring.
But no, the boy had to let his narcissism take control. In addition to the attention you get as president automatically he managed to piss off a lot of people way higher on the food chain. Those people are going to make him an object lesson to discourage others of his ilk from embarrassing them and costing them power and money.
So sad for the orange dumpster fire.
