The ex-wife of a Trump Organization executive has spoken multiple times with investigators from the Manhattan District Attorneys Office, she told NBC News, as the probe into Donald Trumps financial dealings intensifies.
Jennifer Weisselberg said it appears investigators have been seeking information related to the role of Allen Weisselberg, the Trump Organizations chief financial officer and the father of her ex-husband.
Allan Weisselberg, whose relationship with Trump spans decades, is likely the one person outside of the family who has the most complete understanding of the Trump Organizations inner financial workings.
He discusses everything with him, Jennifer Weisselberg said, speaking in her first broadcast interview. And Donald trusts him to continue the legacy the way his father set things up.

(12,827 posts)She is involved in a nasty divorce with his son and has already lost custody of her kids. Not the best witness to have, even though I am sure her husband and his father are using their power to beat her into submission in court.

(12,827 posts)The court said since I out earned him most of our married life, I had to help him "transition" to living without my income. I am a bitter ex wife because of that so I guess I understand ex husbands a little more than most.

(5,633 posts)Finance is an extremely esoteric and complex area for corporations. Proof of financial crimes is not something you could cover adequately in the 10 second "how was your day honey?" conversation when he got home from work. I spend much of my work talking with CFO's, and in my experience, the absolute last thing they want to talk about after work is Corporate Finance.
It's certainly a much more difficult subject than "that cheating bastard was in DC two weeks ago, and I heard he told Jim-bob about a selfie he took in the House of Reps."

So ... grain of salt.
