Donald Trump endorses rival to Georgia Republican elections official Brad Raffensperger

Source: USA Today

WASHINGTON – Seeking revenge on Republicans who opposed his efforts to overturn his election loss, former President Donald Trump on Monday endorsed a GOP primary challenger to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.

U.S. Rep. Jody Hice, R-Ga., a four-term congressman from northeast Georgia who has echoed Trump's election complaints, "will stop the Fraud and get honesty into our Elections!’’ Trump said in a statement. Trump and allies have repeatedly stated, without evidence, that there was voter fraud in Georgia and other states won by President Joe Biden.

In endorsing Hice, Trump again served notice he will insert himself into Republican primaries, even at the risk of splitting the party ahead of important general elections – and even in Georgia, where he is under investigation for pressuring Raffensperger and other Georgia election officials over the 2020 results.

"I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have because we won the state," Trump told Raffensperger in a January phone call taped by Georgia officials.

I have no use for tRump, but the fact that he is inserting himself into Georgia's Republican primary is interesting and newsworthy.

I have much respect for Raffensperger and hope he will be able to successfully push back on this primary challenge. I would love to see the Republican party split over this.

Keep him and his lawyers so busy they don't have time for bullshit rhetoric and vendettas........
And include his spawn and spouses.........

Another thing would be to constantly show his following how Trump and Republicans are playing them for suckers.
There is absolutely no greater vengeance displayed than when someone who has been played realizes it.......
Biden and crew should be on Media DAILY telling what they are doing for the people of the United States.
He should demand a half hour every evening like they give Trump for months on end. If they say no, show their refusal to the Citizens.
At that point, the Dems could justifiably start calling the all the networks PRAVDA....
If necessary the Dems should buy commercials on NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX during that same time period and broadcast some of Trump's Bullshit he broadcast on his nightly crapola, and compare it to the Dems talking about their conquests so far.

In a nutshell, all I can say about the current caous is that:

BIDEN AND THE DEMS ARE QUITE LITERALLY GOING FOR BROKE IN THEIR FIGHT FOR OUR NATIONS DEMOCRACY.

THIS IS IT FOLKS.

The Dems can no longer take the "high" road. The Dems must organize and get a true leader who can lead the charge......This Nation and the Survival of Democracy, and the good of the people are at stake......

The RepubliCONs can no longer be allowed to turn the next four years into the Charlie Foxtrot that we have experienced the last four years.

PSA's, press announcements, do the network and cable shows daily. Sort of a media spokesperson or a small team, in addition to the press secretary.

I also think there is so much that someone should just do a show, updating the country on all of Orange Julius's current and pending law suits and legal entanglements. There are so many (rightly so), and nobody knows at what stage they are at. The media jumps around to the latest shooting, etc. and he quietly keeps doing his revenge planning. I am relieved they banned him on Twitter though, or we would still be hearing about his daily lies.

And I also agree that failure is not an option.

Some people think he's a king maker, but the old rule of "money talks" in elections still stands.
If the GOP decide they don't want to risk losing on some lame horse that kisses Trump's ring, they can throw all their resources at Raffensperger and likely keep the seat.

Trump could use his "Corruption USA" Pac, but I'll bet that money's hard to part with.
