The five states that are doing the worst on the vaccine rollout

Georgia falls in dead last.

By Anagha Srikanth | March 25, 2021

Story at a glance

The Food and Drug Administration has approved three COVID-19 vaccines in the United States.
Only about one-fifth of Americans have received at least one dose of a vaccine and more than 10 percent have been fully vaccinated.
The rollout has gone slowly in several states, especially in the South, which has some of the lowest vaccination rates in the country.

More than 133 million COVID-19 vaccines have been administered so far in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), but that distribution isn't spread evenly across the country. .......................................

Not only last getting vaccines out, but the asshole lifted the mask mandate way too early. He wants the death count to go up on Joe’s shift and he doesn’t care about people dying. It’s truly disgusting.

I have the same questions. It’s not like the assholes even try to hide who or what they are. Yet they stay in office. I seriously hope Beto challenges Abbott.

I read one reason for the low rate of vaccination for DC residents is that a lot of the vaccine allocation has gone to people who work there, but live elsewhere.

With the exception of DC, the bottom five are headed by Republicans and all have significant minority populations. It’s known that the virus has a greater impact, including death, on black and hispanic groups. I believe these Republicans are incompetent but also evil enough to delay vaccinations because the virus hurts more Democratic voters than Republican voters. They get more despicable by the day.

an unofficial policy of the "pro-life" party last year after studies revealed that the virus had a disproportionate impact (especially deaths) on groups of color. The GOPpers resistance to measures designed to combat the spread of the virus can only be described as a calculated decision to ultimately benefit their political ambitions/objectives. They seem willing to sacrifice some of their supporters succumbing to the virus as a means of inflicting greater damage to communities that they despise.

16%???

WTF.

The roll-out needs to accelerate.

This is the clearest evidence that Trump's oversight of the pandemic was totally crap. He needs to be charged with crimes against humanity.
