Virginia attorney general launches civil rights probe of Black Army officer's violent traffic stop

Source: Washington Post

Virginia Attorney General Mark R. Herring (D) on Monday said he had launched a broad civil rights probe of the police officers and department involved in the violent traffic stop of a Black Army officer.

Also Monday, the town of Windsor announced that a Virginia State Police investigation of the incident had begun and that town officials had turned over “numerous requested documents.”

Outrage over the encounter, which was seen in a viral video, continued simmering as some prominent Black leaders, including Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax (D) and state Sen. L. Should be part of his lawsuit..unless that’s a separate lawsuit but he was certainly violated. The community will demand better after they’re sued, I’m sure. I hope this Lt. wins big

Big payday should come. And, he was in full uniform? (I read that.) It's like a uniform flip off. How stupid of them. Huge settlement coming.
