Trump lashes out after grand jury seated for New York criminal probe

Former President Trump lashed out Tuesday after it was reported that a grand jury was seated to weigh any criminal evidence against him and his company and decide if indictments should be issued.
This is a continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt in American history, Trump lamented, referencing other investigations into Russian election meddling.
No other President in history has had to put up with what I have had to, and on top of all that, I have done a great job for our Country, whether its taxes, regulations, our Military, Veterans, Space Force, our Borders, speedy creation of a great vaccine (said to be a miracle!), and protecting the Second Amendment, he added. This is purely political, and an affront to the almost 75 million voters who supported me in the Presidential Election, and its being driven by highly partisan Democrat prosecutors.
The broadside comes as Trump, the Trump Organization and its executives are under investigation for an array of potential financial misconduct.
Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. is coordinating his probe with New York Attorney General Letitia James in their overlapping inquiries. Jamess office said last week that it is now investigating the Trump Organization in a "criminal capacity as well as a "civil capacity." ........

(11,885 posts)Then he'll CONvince his followers they're being victimized too , and then he'll again incite his ignorant rubes to be violent for him, again. This is what a career liar and criminal con artist does. He'll project they're out to get him because he was such a great president, which again is completely opposite of the truth, but look at the truth. He's the most corrupt person we've ever had in our government, and biggest liar, and thinks he's above the rule of law, and it doesn't apply to him.
He'll be conning his rubes to believe they need to send him money, lots of money, especially now that his donors are running away from him, and republicans. He'll use the money for himself again, not for his legal fees, or elections. He's going to use it as a money generator, again.
He is a crook. Trump org is a criminal enterprise, and he will be getting exposed with many others. There will be numerous indictments coming, and he'll try to suggest his rubes will commit violence as a threat if he's indicted. Just like he used them for violence on Jan. 6th because he lost the election. They got the goods on him and others or they wouldn't have called for a grand jury, especially for him. Now he'll have others looking into ways to stall and obstruct , and corrupt this investigation like he's done before, and he'll project false accusations, threaten, and blackmail others for support projecting his lies.

He's going down. It won't be immediately, but before the end of the year I predict he'll be indicted on multiple felony charges, just in time for the mid terms.
What a gift to the Dems.

(639 posts)Nobody gives Trump credit for anything.
I do.
Here's a few...
--Trump has full credit for the increased division in our two party system.
--Trump has full credit as the sole cause of the Jan 6th Insurrection at the US Capitol
--Trump has full credit for the national debt he alone created. Every President gets thier own debt numbers.
--Trump has full credit for blaming Americans for his self-inflicted 'wounds'. Projection & denial are for small minds.
I don't blame anyone else, even the Russians, for Trump's problems.
The NY Grand Jury being conveined is still, up in the air, as to who to blame. We will know once actual indictments are issued.
I'll let Trump whine, and cry and whimper all day long, and it won't affect my own opinion of him or his behaviors.

It's pretty clear to me, that's what he did at his casinos. Deutsche bank forgives a huge MF45 loan because Putin's bank, VTB bank covers the loan.

(793 posts)No other president as been as bent or inflicted greater harm on the people. If he had been elected to four more years we wouldn't be able to breathe, see through the smog, drink clean water or visit a National Park not sold out for oil drilling or strip mining. It's been nice and quiet without his constant bitching, moaning and whining. He ought to donate money to a charity for real.

(13,474 posts)And if he had not run for president, he most likely would have continued in that vein and never paid for any crimes. Now we can only hope that the grand jury hands down indictments for Trump, Jr. Eric, and Ivanka. All have been a part of tax fraud, insurance schemes and fake property valuations, and money laundering.
But will a jury ever find a former US president guilty of crimes that would result in jail? That would be truly unprecedented, but well deserved. Keeping my fingers crossed.
