Oregon House expels Rep. Nearman after December Capitol breach

The vote was 59 to 1. The only member voting against House Resolution 3 was Nearman.
It was the first time in its history that the body voted to expel one of its members.
A special committee voted unanimously earlier in the day to recommend expelling him.

(19,186 posts)in Oregon to scare them with nasty screeds on OAN, Newsmax, and Fox. There's also no Murdoch, Mercer or Koch to withhold millions in dark money. That would be my guess.

Still dont trust but this was kind of a nice surprise.
I wouldnt have expected it. And a unanimous vote on their part, too? Since when did each of em start growing a conscience or a desire to do the right thing?

His insurrection efforts in Oregon, planned by him as revealed in a later-released video, seemed almost like a rehearsal for what later happened in DC on January 6th.
