Biden: Romney proved he is ‘not ready to be commander-in-chief’

Biden: Romney proved he is ‘not ready to be commander-in-chief’
By Alicia M. Cohn - 10/23/12 08:16 AM ET

He’s a good man, a decent man but he demonstrated an overwhelming lack of understanding of the international community, he demonstrated a lack of understanding on the military,” said Biden on NBC's "Today" show.

Biden said that compared to his own vice presidential debate, where Romney running mate Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) had forcefully criticized the administration’s policies, on Monday “Gov. Romney seemed to be rushing to agree with everything the president had done already.”

Biden said he was hard pressed to identify areas where Romney would act differently in office than Obama had.

“Quite frankly in light of what he said tonight, I don’t know,” said Biden, when asked by NBC’s Matt Lauer to spell out areas where Romney and Obama would diverge. “He agreed with everything we’ve done in Iran, he agreed with everything we’ve done in Syria, he’s agreed with everything we’ve done in Libya.”

Mitt Romney is not a good man. He is callous, cold blooded, narcissistic, and lacking in all principle and social ethics. Mitt Romney is a creep, he is not a decent man.

Matt Lauer
Here at DU we are free to call Romney that spade, public interviews with noble statesmen require more bullshit to keep everyone happy.

From Psychology Today

COMMON SYMPTOMS OF SOCIOPATHIC PERSONALITY DISORDER

1. Pathological lying, can often pass a lie detector test, as lying is part of the sociopath's innate makeup
2. Shallow emotions, exhibits outward charm but holds inward scorn for others.
3. Overblown ego (total self-centeredness)and sense of entitlement, feelings that whatever they want is their right to have regardless of harm done to others to obtain it
4. Feel their behavior is justified
5. Desire to control and manipulate others, sees others more as targets to be victimized than as "people"
6. Vindictive when thwarted
7. Keenly aware of the weaknesses of others and will exploit those weaknesses to their own advantage, loves to con others for pleasure or for profit
8. Versatile and chameleon-like, changes image and life story as needed to attain immediate goals
9. Lack of conscience, no sense of remorse, guilt, or regret

I thought that too and in fact I would debate that with the teabaggers where I work and then they hit me with a Forbes article that was titled "Romney's tax returns a stellar example of citizenship and generosity". The man paid nearly 58 percent of his pre-tax income in Federal Tax and Charity.

What monster would be so generous?

Now you can take a very cynical view and claim that this was all for show because he knew he was running for President but I'm not convinced.

I would rather continue debating on his flawed policies than to try and personally attack him as something that he is clearly not, it doesn't resonate in the real world.

now the stupidest of the undecideds

believe Mitt is really as smart as Obama

because Mitt agrees with him

Mitt has avoided extremist label,
and will cull some votes from this strategy

Mitt is like a long lost relative who shows up
at a funeral to announce he's really been a
loyal family member all along - and everything
should be his!

is not a good or decent man to the serfs. Maybe to his family or others close to him and that coddle his insanity. I read the story refuting queen annies assertion on the view that the the mitty twit had gone to every funeral of Massachusetts fallen dead from the two wars when he was guvner. If true that is just wrong. POS.

Romney did prove to not be qualified in terms of his foreign policy. I learned about this on a website called Habidy. It's in its beginning stages, but I've been using it like crazy. Go to http://www.habidy.com, it's still in its beta phase so you will need this code– 10MEGX, to get in. Check it out.

couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. The only muscle he's developed is around his lying mouth. He could care less about America. He said, "you can tell where a person's heart is by where is keeps his money" or something to that effect. The stooge doesn't even realize he just exposed himself. Rob-me is a puppet, owned by big money. When he's laying in his death bed, maybe he'll actually realize what a fool he's been. Who cares about his freaking money? It can't buy true friendship, love, integrity, or honor. It can make you temporarily happy. But it's shallow. It's way over-rated. The simple life is much more rewarding in the real things that count. Peace, love and understanding are all that matters in the end.
