Trump Org CFO removed as officer at subsidiaries after fraud charges: report
Source: The Hill
The Trump Organization has reportedly dropped its embattled chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg from some of its subsidiaries after New York prosecutors charged him with multiple counts of fraud and conspiracy.
Sources close to the matter told The Wall Street Journal the decision to drop Weisselberg from some of the Trump Organizations subsidiaries came amid discussions about potentially changing the duties, powers and title of the executive who has been with the Trump family for nearly 50 years. Despite these discussions, Weisselberg is expected to stay at the company.
On July 1, New York prosecutors levied 15 charges against Weisselberg and the Trump Organization, including tax fraud, grand larceny and falsifying business records. Prosecutors alleged that Weisselberg created a scheme in order to enrich himself and other executives at former President Trumps company with unreported income. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
One of the companies from which Weisselberg has reportedly been dropped from is Trump Payroll Corp for which he previously was listed as director, treasurer, vice president and secretary. The company processes payroll for Trump Organization staff. The Journal reports that Trumps eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., appears to have assumed Weisselberg's role within that company.

(2,825 posts)good with numbers. He may even be exceptional with numbers. Particularly, dollar figures. And especially, where they came from and where they go. And who gets what in return from where.
Now, if Weisselberg is even smarter and had any semblance of just who he worked for and had it within him any form of forward vision, he would know that there would most likely be a day like this day. If so, he would have maintained duplicate records that he would keep in a very safe place for just such a day. Even if he had to reach deep down inside himself to realize that TFG would turn on him faster than a hockey player goes from offense to defense, he had to know this could become an eventuality.
I find it perplexing and amazing at the same time that no one ever questions why everyone has to pledge loyalty to a lying piece of shit when that piece of shit never even offers a hint of giving any in return.
I think Weisselberg is smart. I think he'll now turn over all the records of all that Russian kiddie porn money. All that Russian drug money. All that Russian murder for hire money. All that Russian human trafficking money. All that Russian illegal campaign money. And all the other Russian dirty money that he helped launder over the past 30-40 years. Talk about being woke. TFG just woke up a sleeping giant.
