While Idaho's governor was away, the state's lieutenant governor a political rival tried to deploy the National Guard to the border
Charles Davis 6 hours ago
The head of Idaho's National Guard has rejected a request from the state's lieutenant governor to deploy to the US-Mexico border, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.
Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin sought to activate the state's militia while Idaho Gov. Brad Little was out of state touring the border himself, a move he denounced as "political grandstanding." The two are expected to compete for the Republican gubernatorial nomination in 2022.
"Before I even left the state, the Lt. Governor unabashedly requested information from the Adjutant General to deploy our National Guard to the border," Little said in a statement Tuesday night. He called the move an "affront to the Idaho constitution."
In July, Little himself sent five Idaho state troopers to the US-Mexico border to assist with illegal drug interdiction. He is currently in Texas with other Republican governors who have sought to blame the Biden administration for an increase in migrants seeking asylum.

When I was a kid, I would'a paid 50 cents to get into the "Little Theater" on Broad Street in Newark to see the movie if she was it.
Or $2.00 if she was on the bill with Tempest Storm at Empire Burlesque.... Empire burlesque had pictures of the featured performers in the entertainment section of the Newark Evening News. I don't know how many times that page found its way into the bathro.... aw. forget it.

(5,119 posts)An idiot. Someone who has lied and cheated to get everything she wanted. However, she cannot 'work' her way into the Governor's chair, so she will be trying anything she can to get in it. Including this stunt, where she gets to scream about her rival not being 'tough enough' on non-pasty white people with no bank accounts. This is the modern rethug party. Far more interested in pulling some Hollywood-style photo op or headline grabber than... you know... being an elected representative of her people. One has to marvel at the depths that these rethugs will stoop to just to get some headline time. I'd laugh if, at this point, it wasn't so disgusting.

BOISE, IDAHO
Idaho Gov. Brad Little said he will rescind an executive order involving COVID-19 vaccines by Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin, and the commanding general of the Idaho National Guard also on Tuesday told McGeachin she cant activate troops to send to the U.S.-Mexico border.
Little and Major General Michael J. Garshak made the statements as McGeachin on Tuesday in a flurry of activity attempted to exercise her authority as acting governor with Little out of the state.
Little is in Texas meeting with nine other Republican governors over concerns on how President Joe Biden is handling border issues. McGeachin, a far-right Republican, is running for governor. In Idaho, the governor and lieutenant governor don't run on the same ticket.
McGeachin's executive order issued Tuesday afternoon seeks, among other things, to prevent employers from requiring their employees be vaccinated against COVID-19. Most mainstream Republicans prefer to stay out of the employee-employer relationship.

She has that typical "Real Housewives" appearance... plumped, tucked, nipped, stretched, botoxed, bleached, plucked, lasered, snipped, buffed, painted, lifted, injected, siliconed, capped, plastic, filled, tightened, and lipo'd. Hair, eyelashes, fingernails... head-to-toe... she's a complete PHONY and FRAUD in every sense of the word.
Does ANYONE think that this is attractive? (I mean... OTHER than the folks who are saving-up for one of the "lifelike" silicone sex dolls at realdoll dot com.) NSFW. You've been warned.

No, that's not right. Idaho has a vaccination rate of 40% and their hospitals are overflowing into Washington state.
Idaho's citizens must demand that the state vegetable be smarter than their politicians.

I doubt if the voters will give a damn, and we'll keep getting people who not only don't represent the majority of Americans, but also lack leadership skills and knowledge of the rule of law.

On Wednesday, he repealed Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachins executive order, which sought to ban any required COVID-19 vaccines and testing in schools. Sarah A. Miller smiller@idahostatesman.com Idaho Gov. Brad Little on Wednesday fulfilled his promise to repeal Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachins executive order but did so hours before expected, while he was still in Texas. And Little seemed to challenge the legal presumption that he must surrender power when hes out of state. In a new executive order, Little said that the lieutenant governors actions Tuesday were without legal authority and that his presence in Texas on official business doesnt impair my ability to represent the people of Idaho. He said this action was to ensure the continuity of state government.
